RESEARCH

Spatial Storytelling and Genetics

These seemingly unrelated fields have been incredible outlets to fulfill my creative and analytical curiosity. Working in an interdisciplinary team at Citizen Science GIS, we use technology to bring people and science closer. On a trip to Belize, our team built an interactive map  with the Hopkins
Village Water Board so that water meter and valve data can be stored online. On a finer scale, in the Genetics Lab, research on polyamine transport systems in Drosophila Melanogaster gives me the opportunity to explore topics vital to molecular life and practice scientific skills.
